The Hospitality Director role at Octagon is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about hospitality, sports, entertainment, and experiential marketing. This position involves overseeing a North America-based calendar of events tied to the client's property partnerships across sports, golf, and entertainment sectors. It demands strong project management skills to integrate products and services into sponsorship programs throughout the US, Canada, and Latin America/Caribbean regions. The Hospitality Director will lead a US-based team responsible for planning and executing high-profile B2B events with a strong emphasis on executive hosting and client engagement. This role also entails developing sales decks and presentations for both internal audiences and external partners. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 7-10 years of experience in hospitality or experiential marketing
- Proven experience managing VIP and executive groups
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience working internationally or with global teams preferred
- Willingness to travel extensively including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in project and budget management
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse team environments
- High emotional intelligence and adaptability
- Must be proactive and detail oriented
- Proven ability to maintain discretion, judgment, and poise
Job Qualifications
- 7-10 years work experience in hospitality or experiential marketing and proven experience managing VIP and executive groups
- Experience working internationally or as part of a global team is a benefit
- Strong leadership presence, with the ability to communicate concisely, persuasively and effectively, across multiple mediums
- History of building positive relationships both internally and externally

Job Duties
- Serve as a reliable agency contact for client sponsorship, internal client departments and agency partners
- Oversee B2B hospitality programming across multiple regions and events, with a focus on the Americas
- Serve as the client liaison for Americas/B2B hospitality and product service integration
- Manage a US based team to plan and execute high profiled B2B events
- Integrate client's products and services into sponsorship programs
- Serve as an experiential expert to ideate on innovative ways to convey client messaging through events and hospitality
- Oversee B2B programming and Executive onsite management
- Manage finance trackers, budgets, and program reconciliations
- Develop sales decks and presentations to be presented to internal and external audiences
- Support the agency experiences team as a key member of the hosting and hospitality vertical, bringing new insights and ideas to an evolving industry
