- knowledge of hospital layout and services
- ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups

- commitment to enforcing policies and maintaining a safe environment
- ability to respond to urgent staffing needs and emergencies
- basic computer skills
Job Qualifications
- one year of related hospitality sector experience providing exceptional customer service dealing extensively with the public
- one year of experience in healthcare preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to manage lobby flow and triage operational issues
- knowledge of hospital services and surrounding community resources
- ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- commitment to patient-centered, whole-person care
Job Duties
- provide second-mile service to all guests ensuring a patient-centric experience
- ease the way for patients, guests, and caregivers by providing information and access control
- act as the first point of contact for guests and patients setting a positive and warm tone
- use extensive knowledge of hospital areas and surrounding businesses to support wayfinding and requests
- oversee overall flow of the lobby addressing issues through "see something, say something" best practice
- enforce ministry policies and procedures involving appropriate partners and leadership
- serve as a member of a deployable team for urgent staffing and emergency preparedness
