Recognized for its commitment to quality and heritage, Trinchero Family Estates has grown to become one of the largest family-owned wineries in the United States, known for producing premium wines and providing exceptional hospitality experiences. The company values its rich history yet continually innovates to meet market demands in the competitive wine industry. With a strong emphasis on brand storytelling, customer experience, and sustainable practices, Trinchero Family Estates offers an unparalleled environment for those passionate about wine and hospitality to thrive.
This position is a full-time, exempt role based onsite in Napa, focused on managing the guest experiences at the winery's Visitor Center. The Manager will play a pivotal role in leading a talented team responsible for delivering superior hospitality services that embody the company brand and drive business growth. This dynamic leadership role encompasses three core areas: team management, business growth, and operational oversight. The successful candidate will be charged with driving engagement and excellence within the hospitality team while achieving business objectives such as sales goals and profitability. They will oversee recruitment, training curricula, and performance management of staff to ensure employees are well-equipped wine and brand ambassadors.
In addition to team leadership, the Manager is responsible for operational management including safety compliance, inventory control, and the execution of marketing plans to enhance visitor engagement and sales through initiatives like the Wine Club. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day business functions, event planning, and addressing customer feedback to uphold the highest standards of service. By maintaining operational efficiency and embedding the winery’s values, the Manager will enhance both customer satisfaction and financial performance.
The ideal candidate will bring at least 8-10 years of tasting room management experience within high-volume hospitality settings, combined with strong business acumen, financial management skills, and a passion for wine. Leadership abilities are essential as this role requires managing a large team and fostering a motivating, results-driven work environment. Multitasking, organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office applications are required to navigate the diverse responsibilities effectively. Working weekends and some evenings is necessary to support events and peak seasonal demands.
Trinchero Family Estates offers a competitive salary range from $95,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The company also provides an extensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, wellness programs, and family-building benefits. Moreover, employees have access to a 401(k) plan with discretionary profit-sharing contributions, reflecting the company’s commitment to employee well-being and growth. This opportunity represents a rewarding career path for professionals eager to lead within a prestigious, customer-focused winery environment where they can make a significant impact on brand success and guest experience.
