Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license with 2 points or less on driving record
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to handle physical tasks associated with valet parking
- reliable and customer-focused attitude
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a customer service role
- valid driver’s license with 2 points or less on driving record
- ability to operate various types of vehicles including manual transmission is a plus
- excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations professionally
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with valet parking
Job Duties
- greet and assist patients and visitors as they arrive at the hospital
- provide valet parking services including parking and retrieving vehicles in a timely manner
- maintain a clean and organized valet area to ensure efficient workflow
- monitor traffic flow within the valet area and direct vehicles accordingly
- assist guests with walkers and special requests
- ensure safety and security of all parked vehicles including routine inspections
- maintain accurate records of vehicle keys and parking transactions
- adhere to hospital policies and procedures related to safety and security
- respond to inquiries from patients and visitors regarding hospital services and directions
- work collaboratively with hospital departments and staff to enhance visitor experience
- report incidents, accidents, or irregularities to the Parking Services Manager promptly
