The Valet Attendant position at PMC plays an essential role in upholding the company’s commitment to outstanding guest service. This role is often the first and last point of contact for guests and thus is crucial in setting a welcoming and professional tone throughout their visit. Valet Attendants are responsible for the safe and efficient parking and retrieval of guest vehicles, adhering strictly to operational and safety protocols. This full-time or part-time position emphasizes the importance of courtesy, attentiveness, and professionalism, as employees are expected to manage traffic flow, conduct vehicle inspections, and handle guest inquiries with expertise and a friendly demeanor. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Customer service attitude and a willing, helpful demeanor is mandatory
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record with no more than three moving violations within three years
  • Ability to pass and maintain a clean background check
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Professional appearance and grooming
  • Compliance with attendance and timekeeping
  • Adherence to company policies and safety procedures
  • Ability to operate vehicles safely
  • Effective communication skills

Job Duties

  • Conduct vehicle damage inspections and document parking locations on claim tickets
  • Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles while adhering to proper key handling procedures
  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain personal and vehicle security
  • Maintain compliance with attendance and timekeeping policies including clocking in/out and reporting tips
  • Keep valet areas clean, organized, and presentable
  • Handle challenging situations professionally and resolve problems promptly
  • Maintain regular attendance, adhere to company policies, and uphold PMC standards
  • Perform other tasks to support company’s operational goals and attend mandatory training
