Job Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine
- Prior hospitalist experience
- Strong communication skills
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Willingness to participate in 7 on, 7 off day rounding schedule
Job Qualifications
- ABIM or ABFM certified with prior hospitalist experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Authorization to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Rounding on patients with admissions
- Help support the hospitalist team's efforts in utilization management, compliance, clinical documentation improvement, and patient satisfaction at UF St. Johns Flagler Hospital
- Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance
- Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings
- Provide high-quality inpatient care
- Engage in multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
