The Hospital Food Services Manager role is integral to the organization, responsible for overseeing daily operations within the Food Services department of a 25-bed hospital facility. The manager will lead a team of approximately 15 direct reports, emphasizing hands-on leadership and staff development. This role focuses on managing dietary programs tailored to patient needs, including about 14 specialized diet plans primarily for patients with restricted dietary requirements. The position demands ensuring food safety, dietary compliance, operational efficiency, and patient satisfaction.

Working closely with senior hospital leadership, nursing staff, clinical teams, and other healthcare professionals, the Hospital Food Services Manager will ensure coordinated patient care services that align with the hospital’s mission of quality outcomes. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
  • Registered Dietitian credential or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare food service management

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications
