This position as a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) or RN Case Manager is an integral role within Gentiva Hospice’s care delivery model. The role offers a competitive salary range between $118,000 and $120,000 along with a sign-on bonus available for those with direct hospice experience. The Hospice RN is the primary point of contact for patients and their families, guiding them compassionately through each phase of their hospice care. This involves delivering skilled, hands-on nursing care based on individualized Plans of Care, performing initial and ongoing assessments to monitor conditions, and adjusting care as needed. The RN works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that every aspect of the patient's needs—physical, emotional, spiritual, and practical—is addressed with sensitivity and professionalism.

Additionally, the RN educates caregivers and patients on medications, pain management, and the hospice philosophy to empower families with knowledge and confidence. Accurate clinical documentation, adherence to infection control and compliance standards, and communication of updates across the care team are key responsibilities for maintaining high-quality, consistent care.
