Busch Gardens Tampa stands out for its unique blend of animal encounters and themed amusements, creating memorable experiences for guests of all ages.

For those interested in thrilling seasonal opportunities, Busch Gardens Tampa's Howl-O-Scream event is a highly anticipated annual event that transforms the park into a spooky and exciting destination. This seasonal role offers employment aligned with the event's duration, providing a unique chance to be part of a dynamic team within a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The compensation rate for this role is $17 per hour, reflecting the value and importance of the work performed.

This Seasonal Management position involves overseeing consumer events, including festivals and shows, within the entertainment department. The role requires a highly organized and experienced individual who can supervise daily operations, lead rehearsals, and ensure the smooth running of special events. Candidates will be responsible for cast and crew coordination, logistical support, safety enforcement, and maintaining high-quality standards across all entertainment programming.

The position demands flexibility, as schedules will vary based on business needs, including opening, mid-, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience in stage management or related leadership roles in theater or entertainment is essential, ideally with a minimum of two years in a practical management capacity. A college degree in theater or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if there is equivalent practical experience.

Successful candidates will display proficiency with Microsoft Office software, exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required to interact positively with guests, entertainers, technicians, and team members across departments and external vendors or contractors. The role also demands a strong commitment to safety protocols, the capacity to recognize and address behavioral issues within teams, and the readiness to work under pressure in potentially stressful conditions.

Physically, the role requires the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and involves extensive walking, standing, and climbing. Candidates must be prepared to work indoors and outdoors in varied Florida weather conditions, including extreme heat, and be comfortable with environmental effects such as fog, smoke, haze, strobe lighting, and other theatrical effects. Duties also include performing cleaning tasks, using cleaning chemicals safely, and being adaptable to different work locations and roles based on park needs.

Overall, the role offers a chance to work in a supportive team environment within one of the most exciting entertainment companies in the world. Employees will have the opportunity to contribute to high-quality entertainment productions, develop professionally, and enjoy a positive workplace culture. SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment for all employees.
