Job Description
Equity Bank Park is a premier sports and entertainment venue known for its state-of-the-art facilities and engaging fan experiences. Among its standout attractions is the Home Run Dugout Batting Bays™ experience, designed to offer visitors a unique blend of sports, technology, and hospitality in a dynamic and interactive environment. The park draws sports enthusiasts, families, and visitors seeking high-quality entertainment and excellent service in a vibrant, fast-paced setting. As a key part of its operation, Equity Bank Park is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through innovative attractions and well-managed teams.
The Home Run Dugout Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the Home Run Dugout Batting Bays™. This position functions similarly to a restaurant manager or host, overseeing all aspects of guest flow, staff performance, and food and beverage service within the batting bays area. The manager is responsible for creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where guests can enjoy the batting bay experience to its fullest. This role demands a highly organized individual with strong leadership skills, a keen guest focus, and the ability to thrive in a high-energy, entertainment-driven setting.
The successful candidate will lead and supervise part-time staff including hosts, attendants, and service team members, fostering a positive, team-oriented culture that prioritizes hospitality and operational efficiency. Managing reservations, walk-ups, and bay assignments to optimize area usage and guest engagement will be essential to maximizing revenue. Additionally, the manager must coordinate effectively with concessions or food and beverage partners to ensure timely service and maintain quality standards for food and beverages. Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the space also falls under the manager’s responsibilities.
Compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations is imperative, along with enforcing gameplay rules and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike. The manager will monitor equipment functionality, troubleshoot issues, and work with vendors to schedule maintenance as needed. Beyond daily operations, the Home Run Dugout Manager supports special events, group outings, and promotional activities connected to the batting bays.
Ideal candidates possess at least two years of experience in management roles within restaurants, hospitality, or entertainment venues. They exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills, are comfortable multitasking in busy environments, and have experience with point-of-sale systems and reservation platforms. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and game days is required, as is the physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a first-of-its-kind interactive baseball experience, blending sports, technology, and hospitality to create memorable moments for fans of all ages.
