Hunt’s Final Mile Services to deliver and install fitness equipment and furniture directly in customers’ homes. This contract position offers a unique blend of delivery and installation duties, providing a premium white glove service experience to ensure customer satisfaction at the final point of delivery.
Contract carriers will benefit from a $750 flat daily rate and weekly settlements averaging $3,750, ensuring competitive and consistent earnings with flexible payment terms set at seven days. The work schedule is generally Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday availability during peak seasons, enabling contractors to manage their workload effectively while maintaining a steady flow of routes. The average delivery radius is approximately 250 miles, which allows carriers to service a broad regional area while maintaining route efficiency.
Contracted carriers enjoy the advantage of an established customer base with consistent routes, enhancing the predictability and stability of income. Access to nationwide accounts and third-party discounts on essential resources such as truck rentals, fuel, and tools provide additional support to optimize the operation's cost-efficiency. Ideal candidates will have solid experience in white glove home delivery, appliance and furniture delivery, as well as installation, with vehicles equipped with a 26-foot box truck featuring a white box and cab. Job Requirements
- must live within 100 mile radius of facility
- active U.S. DOT and MC numbers
- minimum two-man team with members passing background and drug screening
- previous home delivery (white glove) experience
- previous appliance delivery, furniture delivery and installation experience
- possess a 26-foot box truck with white box and cab
- truck equipped with liftgate is a plus
- meet insurance requirements as per company policies
