The Event Manager position at CSC Los Angeles, stationed at Hollywood Park & SoFi Stadium, offers an exciting opportunity for a professional event operations leader. This role is full-time and exempt with an annual salary ranging from $68,640 to $72,000. Reporting to the Senior Event Manager, the Event Manager will play a crucial role in implementing comprehensive event operations and crowd management plans for various venues in the Los Angeles area. The successful candidate will supervise a substantial team of over 100 supervisors and staff, coordinating detailed staffing plans, deployments, and ensuring seamless event execution.

In this dynamic position, the Event Manager serves as the primary liaison between CSC and its internal and external clients, representing the organization with professionalism and expertise. Responsibilities include briefing event staff, managing operational timelines, coordinating with clients to create staffing and event plans, preparing necessary paperwork, and attending all major events to address and resolve any operational issues that arise. This role requires someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, can make quick sound decisions, and maintain outstanding client relationships.

Job Requirements

  • Five years of related work experience, three years of general experience in security, law enforcement or military with a high school level education
  • or two years related work experience and bachelor or associate degree
  • or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • General knowledge of computer operation, Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to maintain good client/customer relations and work in a team setting
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, applicants, customers, or organization
  • Good verbal/written communication skills and people management skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced, high-pressure environments and make sound decisions quickly
  • Walk significant distances, including up and down stairs
  • Complete mandated industry trainings as assigned
