Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule for a 24/7 operation including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
- Background check and drug screen required
- Must be able to attain and sustain an Airport I.D. Badge
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Experience using computer software
- Experience in observing CCTV cameras and working with scanners
- Ability to solve problems under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and standards
Job Duties
- Clearing bag jams and responding to trouble calls in the baggage handling system
- Always maintain superior customer service and safe working practice
- Maintaining cleanliness of system including sweeping, housekeeping, collecting trash, cleaning dust and debris
- Coordinate and determine configuration changes to bypass off-service conveyors to allow technicians to correct mechanical issues
- Maintain a daily log and report all BHS and PBB faults and jam logs
- Communicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systems
- Assist with the TSA to monitor the BHS and PBB system cameras and complete baggage tracking throughout the system
