The Housekeeping Cleaner role at MyClean is an active and hands-on position perfect for individuals who enjoy staying busy and take pride in leaving spaces cleaner than they found them. This role involves a variety of cleaning responsibilities ranging from wiping down surfaces and scrubbing kitchen and bathroom fixtures to sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors. Cleaners must have reliable transportation, be comfortable using Google Maps for navigation, and demonstrate punctuality and reliability by consistently arriving early and maintaining excellent attendance records. Experience in housekeeping, hotel cleaning, or customer service is highly valued, and being a team player is essential to thrive in this role.

Housekeeping Cleaners at MyClean are entrusted to perform thorough tasks like trash removal and sorting recyclables, steel-shining appliances, hand washing dishes, and ensuring clients’ locations are secure at the end of each visit. The role also requires maintaining professional and positive communication with clients, supervising staff, and fellow team members. Employees are expected to comply with company safety policies and engage in continuous learning through training programs. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
  • possess a functional smartphone with a data plan
  • have a reliable means of transportation (car or public transportation)
  • ability to work and communicate in a team
  • physical requirements include walking and standing during the entire shift (often 4-8 hours), climbing stairs, kneeling to clean floors, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs), and cleaning

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
  • experience as a housekeeper, hotel cleaner, or in customer service
  • ability to work effectively within a team

Job Duties

  • Wipe down countertops, desks, and other surfaces
  • scrub kitchen and bathroom fixtures, including toilets and urinals
  • collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and compost
  • hand wash dishes
  • load and unload dishwashers
  • spot clean cabinets, drawers, and glass surfaces
