Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment a plus but not required
  • Ability to lift frequently up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform other physical requirements such as seeing, hearing, speaking, bending, reaching, and moving intermittently during working hours
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including peak service times
  • Demonstrated team orientation and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Wash dishes, pots, etc using dishwashers or by hand
  • Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and prep kitchen work stations
  • Stock cleaning supplies and dishes in their respective areas
  • Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pick up areas
  • Support team members and managers with daily cleaning tasks
  • Gain exposure to different stations within the kitchen including garde manger, grill, roast, market line, and prep
  • Work to support the team during peak and off peak service by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary
  • Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time
  • Help to maintain the 'A' lettergrade by following Department of Health and food safety standards
  • Demonstrate professional maturity and strictly uphold anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies
