Job Description

Hilton is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, known for its commitment to quality guest experiences and exceptional service standards. As a premier hotel brand, Hilton strives to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests around the world. With a rich history of excellence and innovation, Hilton operates a diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts, catering to travelers across business and leisure sectors. The company emphasizes a culture of inclusivity, employee development, and community engagement, making it an employer of choice within the hospitality sector.

The role of Housekeeper / Room Attendant at Hilton is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas to meet the brand's high standards. This position involves a variety of cleaning and hospitality duties including making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming floors, dusting furniture, and replenishing towels and toiletries. Maintaining the presentation of rooms according to Hilton’s cleanliness guidelines ensures that guests enjoy a pristine and comfortable stay. Housekeepers also take responsibility for restocking housekeeping carts, removing trash, and performing timely cleaning of hallways and common spaces when assigned.

This full-time hourly role typically pays between $15 to $24 per hour and offers opportunities for earnings enhancements such as overtime pay, weekend pay, holiday pay, and performance-based bonuses, which can vary by location and specific property. Housekeepers are expected to complete a set number of rooms per shift and may be tasked with deep cleaning assignments as required to uphold Hilton’s hygienic environment. Safety guidelines and proper cleaning procedures are essential to the role, as is the ability to respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and to report any maintenance issues encountered during shifts.

Additionally, Hilton provides a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including health, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match; paid time off; employee hotel discounts; and tuition assistance programs—all designed to support employee wellness and career growth. There are also clear pathways for career advancement within Hilton, offering Housekeepers the opportunity to progress to supervisory or management roles within the company. Incentives such as attendance bonuses, room quota bonuses, and shift differentials are sometimes available depending on the hotel’s policies, offering further motivation and rewards for high performance. In essence, this role is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, take pride in their work, and want to contribute to delivering outstanding guest experiences in the hospitality industry.
