Job Requirements
- Ability to bend, stoop, and walk for 8-hour shifts
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push or pull housekeeping carts weighing up to 100 lbs
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- attention to detail
- positive attitude and guest-focused approach
- authorized to work in the country
- physical fitness to meet job demands
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles preferred
- ability to follow safety and cleanliness standards
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks
Job Duties
- Perform cleaning duties in the assigned zones like bathrooms, public sectors, workstations, and conference rooms
- dust and polish furniture
- vacuum, mop, sweep, and clean carpets
- wash windows and maintain floors
- dispose of waste and clear ashtrays
- greet guests with a friendly approach
- identify maintenance problems and necessary repair items
- manage stockrooms and ensure adequate supplies
- perform deep cleaning duties and special tasks like flipping mattresses and moving furniture
- respond to guest inquiries and assist in maintaining guest rooms when required
