Job Description
Hilton Hotels & Resorts is one of the most recognized and respected names in the global hospitality industry, known for its commitment to quality, exceptional guest experiences, and innovative services. As a leading international hotel chain, Hilton prioritizes creating welcoming environments that combine comfort, cleanliness, and luxury to ensure every guest enjoys a memorable stay. With thousands of properties worldwide, Hilton Hotels serve millions of guests every year and strive to maintain the highest standards of hospitality and operational excellence.
The role of a Housekeeping Assistant at Hilton is pivotal in upholding these standards, being directly responsible for creating a clean, safe, and inviting environment for guests and team members alike. This position focuses on cleaning and maintaining assigned hotel areas, including bathrooms, public spaces, conference rooms, and workstations, while also promptly addressing guest requests and contributing to the hotel's overall financial success through exceptional service delivery. The Housekeeping Assistant is integral to the hotel's operations, ensuring that every nook and corner is spotless and prepared to meet guest expectations. This job requires meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to housekeeping tasks, such as dusting and polishing furniture, vacuuming, mopping, carpet care, window washing, floor maintenance, waste disposal, and ashtray clearing.
Beyond routine cleaning, the Housekeeping Assistant also identifies maintenance issues that require repair, manages stockrooms to ensure the availability of essential supplies, and performs specialized cleaning tasks like flipping mattresses and rearranging furniture. Importantly, the role demands a friendly and approachable demeanor to greet guests and respond effectively to inquiries, reinforcing Hilton's commitment to outstanding hospitality. Due to the physical demands of the role, candidates must be capable of bending, stooping, and walking for extended periods during 8-hour shifts, as well as lifting heavy items such as mattresses or pushing/pulling housekeeping carts.
Hilton offers a rewarding work environment with competitive employment conditions, typically full-time, aimed at supporting the professional growth and well-being of its staff members. Employees benefit from a range of comprehensive benefits designed to support health, financial security, and work-life balance, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off for vacation and illness, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching, and exclusive travel discounts for personal leisure. Joining Hilton as a Housekeeping Assistant not only offers the chance to contribute to a world-class hospitality team but also provides many opportunities for career advancement within a globally renowned company.
