Job Description

Hilton is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards across its vast portfolio of hotels and resorts. Operating in numerous countries around the world, Hilton has set the benchmark for quality, innovation, and hospitality excellence. As a hotel company, Hilton focuses on creating comfortable, safe, and welcoming environments for travelers and guests, offering a wide range of services and amenities tailored to meet diverse needs.

Hilton is currently seeking dedicated Housekeepers / Room Attendants to join their team. This role is essential in ensuring that every guest room and hotel area meets Hilton's brand standards for cleanliness, organization, and overall guest satisfaction. Housekeepers are entrusted with maintaining the pristine condition of guest rooms by performing a variety of cleaning duties such as making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture, vacuuming floors, replenishing towels and guest amenities, and removing trash. This role also involves restocking the housekeeping cart daily to ensure efficiency throughout the workday.

In addition to routine cleaning, Housekeepers respond promptly to guest requests and undertake deep cleaning tasks as needed. The position demands physical stamina, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and pushing carts. Employees must work efficiently to meet daily room quotas, contributing directly to the overall guest experience. The role is both challenging and rewarding, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a commitment to quality are paramount.

This position typically offers an hourly wage ranging from $16 to $35, with the average pay around $16 per hour. Pay can vary based on location, experience, and the size of the hotel. Some locations provide additional earning opportunities such as overtime, weekend pay, or holiday pay premiums. Full-time employees may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, employee hotel discounts, employee stock purchase plans, and tuition assistance programs. Larger Hilton properties or unionized hotels may also offer higher wages, attendance bonuses, and performance incentives, further rewarding hard work and dedication.

Joining Hilton as a Housekeeper means becoming part of a respected hospitality organization that values its employees and offers growth opportunities. If you take pride in maintaining cleanliness, enjoy working as part of a team, and want to contribute to an excellent guest experience, this role is an ideal fit. Hilton’s commitment to diversity and inclusion ensures a welcoming workplace where all team members are appreciated for their unique contributions. Whether you are starting your career or seeking stable employment in the hospitality industry, Hilton offers an environment that supports your professional development and personal success.
