As an industry pioneer, Hilton continually innovates to meet and exceed the expectations of guests, making it a preferred employer for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest relations.
The Front Desk Agent role at Hilton is pivotal in shaping the first impression guests have of the hotel. Serving as the initial point of contact, Front Desk Agents play a key role in ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their stay. This position involves a variety of customer service responsibilities, including greeting guests warmly, checking them in and out efficiently, and verifying reservation details with utmost accuracy. Front Desk Agents are also tasked with processing payments securely, issuing room keys promptly, and providing guests with useful information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
In addition to face-to-face interactions, Front Desk Agents manage incoming phone calls, assist guests with booking reservations, and handle any guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy. Coordinating with the housekeeping and maintenance teams is essential to ensure rooms are ready and in perfect condition for incoming guests. Maintaining an organized and professional front desk and lobby area is crucial to upholding Hilton’s high standards of hospitality.
This role offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $16 to $35, dependent on factors such as hotel location, employee experience, shift times, and the type of property. Higher pay rates are often available for overnight shifts, luxury properties, or roles with supervisory responsibilities. Full-time Front Desk Agents may also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, Hilton employee discounts on hotel stays, paid holidays, and opportunities for career advancement into supervisory or management positions. Additional incentives like shift differentials for overnight work, performance bonuses, room upgrade upsell commissions, and holiday pay premiums may also be offered at select locations.
By joining Hilton as a Front Desk Agent, candidates become part of a globally respected team that values exceptional service, teamwork, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, have strong organizational skills, and are eager to contribute to creating unforgettable guest experiences in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
