Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hotel or related field preferred
- Food Handlers Certification complying with state requirements
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all food items based on standardized recipes
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in kitchen and work areas
- Minimize waste and maximize cost and production ratio
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Comply with certification and safety requirements
- Prepare food for banquets and associate cafeteria as specified
- Display buffet food items according to standards
- Maintain kitchen line during operating hours and prepare food to order
- Breakdown buffets and kitchen line, store food and equipment properly
- Practice safe work habits and know location of fire extinguishing equipment
- Maintain organization of all storage areas
- Use production charts as specified
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment
- Assist in storage and rotation of food items
- Attend meetings as required
- Interact professionally with guests and colleagues
- Represent company with good character and sound judgement
