The Line Cook position at Hilton Buena Park Anaheim involves preparing and cooking all food items according to standardized recipes for various outlets, including the Corporate HQ outlet, Banquets and Catering in meeting rooms, and the Executive Lounge. The role requires maintaining the highest culinary standards to produce visually appealing and appetizing dishes consistently. This position plays a critical role in ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering high-quality food and maintaining excellent hygiene, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and work areas. The Line Cook is also responsible for minimizing waste while maximizing cost efficiency and production ratios, supporting the hotel's commitment to sustainability and operational effectiveness.

This role demands a professional who is detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure and objectivity in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include adhering to Aimbridge Hospitality’s standards, complying with food handler certification requirements, and maintaining personal appearance and grooming standards defined by the brand. The Line Cook must be knowledgeable about menu items and preparation techniques, manage station and food preparations before service, and handle banquet and cafeteria food services as directed. This job also encompasses food storage, equipment maintenance, safety precautions including familiarity with fire extinguishing equipment, and following emergency procedures. Teamwork, communication skills, and a service-oriented attitude are essential to foster a positive working environment and ensure guest and colleague satisfaction.
