Job Description

Join our team as a Catering Manager and take center stage in a dynamic hospitality environment where your skills in sales and event management will shine. Our company is a thriving hotel known for hosting memorable events and providing exceptional guest experiences. We pride ourselves on delivering top-notch services that create lasting impressions and foster client loyalty. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys the challenge of exceeding revenue goals while crafting unforgettable events. As the Catering Manager, you will serve as the key liaison between our clients and the hotel, ensuring that every event runs flawlessly and leaves clients thrilled.

This position is a crucial management role with overtime eligibility, reflecting the dedication needed to succeed. You will be responsible not only for meeting but exceeding sales targets through proactive account management and client engagement. Your day-to-day tasks will involve organizing and managing banquet orders, event lists, and schedules with precision. You will lead sales tours, develop strong relationships with diverse client groups such as leisure guests, business travelers, and SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal) groups, and represent the hotel at local community and industry events.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, a solid understanding of food and beverage services, and the creativity to design unique event experiences. You will collaborate closely with team members across departments to ensure seamless event execution and uphold the highest standards of service. Responsibility, discretion, and integrity are essential, as you will also safeguard sensitive information and company assets.

In addition to the rewarding scope of responsibilities, this role offers a competitive benefits package after an initial waiting period. You will have access to daily pay options, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as income protection through short-term and long-term disability plans. Life insurance, paid time off, and a 401k retirement plan further enhance the employment experience. Our employee assistance program is designed to support your overall well-being, reflecting our commitment to a positive workplace culture.

If you are ready to bring your passion for hospitality, sales expertise, and event management skills to a role that challenges and rewards you, we invite you to apply. This is your chance to be a pivotal part of a respected hotel brand and grow your career in the catering and events sector.
