Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
Previous experience in a banquet or hospitality setting preferred
Certification in alcohol awareness and food handling as required by state regulations

Job Duties

Approach all guest interactions with a friendly and service-oriented demeanor ensuring a positive experience
Effectively communicate with guests and team members to coordinate service and address any needs or concerns
Set up and serve banquet functions according to hotel standards ensuring all details are attended to
Manage time efficiently to ensure prompt and efficient service during events from setup to breakdown
Address guest complaints and issues calmly referring them to management when necessary
