Job Requirements
- Effective communication in English, both verbal and written
- neat and professional appearance
- attention to detail and accuracy
- interaction skills with customers, public and co-workers
- ability to use a computer and/or cash register
- ability to obtain and maintain knowledge of company rules, policies and procedures
- minimum age of 21 years
- ability to obtain and maintain knowledge of venue's menu
- ability to qualify for required licenses and permits
- ability to work under time constraints and within deadlines
- ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance
- work indoors in a climate-controlled environment
- exposure to noise, dust and smoke

Job Duties
- Greet customers in a prompt and courteous manner and thank them upon departure
- determine the number in a party, accurately post transaction on cash register, and make appropriate change
- seat as quickly as possible, ensure guest comfort during waiting periods
- properly rotate server stations when seating guests
- assist service staff in clearing, cleaning, and setting tables
- make sure all areas are clean and free of debris
- fill condiments as needed
- answer telephones using proper phone etiquette
- count out cash drawer at end of shift
- perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
- ensure all Rio Hotel & Casino core values and standards are implemented and applied
