Job Requirements
- Ability to physically stand and walk 100 percent of shift
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, stir, wipe and shake drinks vigorously
- ability to immerse hands in water frequently
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- ability to speak, read and write English
- ability to read and write handwritten guest checks and notes
- completion and passing of Florida Responsible Vendor program
- completion and passing of food safety certification
- ability to request proper identification and manually calculate guests' age
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of mixing liquor and drink ingredients according to recipes
- experience using POS systems
- ability to serve food as per server requirements
- knowledge of safety and sanitation policies
- ability to perform shift changes and sidework
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- understanding of Florida Responsible Vendor program
- food safety certification
Job Duties
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
- mix liquor and drink ingredients according to company recipes and measures
- serve guests in a cheerful and courteous temperament while displaying a neat and clean professional image
- maintain a neat and clean, properly stocked bar
- verify correct pricing for drinks
- serve food according to the Server Job Description requisites
- be knowledgeable of drink promotions and specials and answer guests' questions clearly
- accurately enter orders into POS system in a timely manner
- assess guests' demeanor and identify intoxicated guests to summon a Manager when necessary
- collect guests' payments via credit cards, cash, or gift cards and ensure transactions are correct using POS
- perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework
