Job Description

AccordCare is a rapidly growing home care company dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients in Broward County, Florida. Serving diverse communities such as Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Hallandale Beach, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Cooper City, Davie, and Weston, AccordCare focuses on supporting individuals to live safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes. Known for its employee-focused work environment, the company values its caregivers and strives to create a supportive atmosphere where professional growth and meaningful impact go hand in hand.

This urgent hiring drive is for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) who are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. As part of AccordCare’s caregiving team, you will be entrusted with delivering personalized care tailored to each client’s needs, following established Plans of Care. The role offers flexible hours and self-determined schedules, providing caregivers the autonomy to balance work and personal life effectively. Differential pay is also available, recognizing the value and dedication of the caregiving team.

The role requires assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and bathing while also performing basic healthcare functions including taking vital signs and offering medication reminders. Beyond direct patient care, caregivers will support individuals with light housekeeping and meal preparation to enhance their quality of life. Transportation assistance is a unique aspect of this role; caregivers will safely drive and escort clients to their appointments, errands, and social activities, fostering social engagement and community integration.

AccordCare emphasizes the importance of valuing and recognizing caregivers’ contributions. The company offers weekly pay to provide timely compensation and free Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure safety during caregiving activities. Additional incentives include referral bonuses, caregiver appreciation days, and the prestigious Caregiver of the Year award, all aimed at celebrating and motivating the caregiving staff.

Benefits such as paid orientation, career growth opportunities, and a supportive work environment reinforce AccordCare’s commitment to its employees’ success and well-being. The company requires all applicants to have current CNA or HHA certification, CPR certification (excluding online courses), and recent TB testing or chest X-rays. Compliance with background checks and drug screenings is mandatory, consistent with state regulations and best practices for home care services.

AccordCare also follows strict screening protocols through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse to uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to ensuring fair treatment for all candidates and employees under federal employment laws.

This position is ideal for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregivers eager to make a tangible difference by supporting clients’ independence and well-being in their own homes. If you meet the requirements and are looking for a fulfilling caregiving position with flexible scheduling and a supportive employer, AccordCare encourages you to apply today and join their dedicated team.
