Job Requirements
- Treat clients with dignity and respect
- Have weekend availability if applicable
- Demonstrate effective communication skills
- Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance if applicable
- Comply with State of Minnesota regulations
- Pass DMV check
- Pass drug screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Willingness to complete paid training and ongoing education
Job Duties
- Provide companionship
- Perform light housekeeping
- Prepare meals
- Give medication reminders
- Run errands
- Provide transportation to appointments
- Assist with activities of daily living and specialized Alzheimer’s/Dementia care
