This role is a part-time, remote position designed for individuals who enjoy relationship-building and are adept at sales within a territory. The Territory Sales Associate is responsible for increasing product distribution, ensuring the presence of top-selling Hershey items at retail locations, and managing merchandising displays to maximize consumer visibility. Successful candidates will be comfortable using tablet technology for daily reporting and maintaining detailed records of sales activities and promotions.
Candidates must reside within specific zip codes around Beaverton, OR, and be willing to travel extensively within their assigned territories. This role requires driving personal vehicles approximately 55 miles daily, with reimbursement for mileage at 62 cents per mile, but without a car allowance. TSAs typically work 20-25 hours per week, allowing for a flexible schedule tailored to individual and territory needs that overlap core business hours from 6:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. The hourly pay ranges from $16.50 to $19.50, depending on experience and location.

Job Requirements
- Must have a valid US state issued driver’s license
- Must have a personal vehicle in sound operating condition
- Must maintain personal auto insurance indicating minimum coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage with business use permitted
- Must reside or be willing to commute within the territory boundaries
- Must be able to drive long distances to make multiple sales calls daily
- Must be able to lift 10-40 lbs regularly with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to use tablet technology
- Must have daily access to wireless internet
- Must have flexibility and adaptability to territory coverage changes
- Availability to work 20-25 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3-4 years of food merchandising experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using tablet technology for reporting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Job Duties
- Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in assigned territory
- Ensure flawless retail execution of headquarters sales and merchandising plans with various retailers
- Achieve all merchandising objectives through effective use of permanent secondary displays and other display vehicles
- Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and all administrative functions within assigned territory
- Report daily activities through tablets, submitting upon completion of each day
- Manage sales territory responsibilities varying due to territory size, number of retailers, and location
