Job Description

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of restaurant experience
  • At least one year of supervisory experience in a restaurant environment
  • Ability to complete TIPs training if not already certified
  • Full mobility and physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds and push food carts up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work flexible hours including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Minimum of three years restaurant experience
  • At least one year of restaurant supervisory experience
  • Successful TIPs training and ability to use order and payment systems preferred
  • Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to maintain continuous quick-paced movement and physical tasks related to the role

Job Duties

  • Conduct monthly beverage inventories and reconciliations
  • Ensure that the quality and presentation of all food products meet The Charles Hotel's standards
  • Maintain professional working relationships and promote open lines of communication with managers, employees, and other departments
  • Initiate all necessary food and beverage reports according to company standards
  • Ensure staff are attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests and colleagues at all times
  • Maintain required pars of all stock
  • Review daily food sales for accuracy
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
