Job Requirements

  • Must meet a weight limit of 230 pounds dressed in flight suit and boots
  • Upload Pilot License as part of application
  • Upload FAA Medical Certificate as part of application
  • Compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Ability to perform preflight inspections
  • Availability for 7/7 rotation schedule
  • Ability to operate helicopters under Visual Flight Rules

Job Qualifications

  • Commercial Certificate in Rotorcraft-Helicopter
  • Instrument Rating in Rotorcraft-Helicopter
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2000 total flight hours
  • At least 1500 helicopter flight hours
  • Minimum of 1000 hours as Pilot in Command in helicopters
  • 500 hours of turbine experience
  • 100 hours of unaided night flying or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided experience
  • Preferred experience in Helicopter Air Ambulance or equivalent roles

Job Duties

  • Operate aircraft safely and efficiently emphasizing compliance with Rotorcraft Flight Manual
  • Monitor current weather conditions and forecasts for changes
  • Conduct preflight inspections and document discrepancies in engineering log
  • Notify maintenance of any identified aircraft issues
  • Report for duty well-rested and prepared
  • Maintain knowledge of weather and forecast changes
  • Adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations and company operational manuals
