Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a food/beverage and/or retail environment
  • previous coffee house and/or hotel experience preferred
  • experience with cash handling and face-to-face customer service is required
  • ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English, both verbally and in writing
  • ability to accurately input information into MICROS and handle stressful situations calmly
  • ability to work cohesively with co-workers and prioritize guest requests in a fast-paced environment
  • familiarity with Heine Brothers' products and methods, including coffee and specialty drinks
  • must be STAR certified and Food Handlers certified

Job Duties

  • Provide quick, efficient, and professional service to ensure guest satisfaction
  • restock merchandise and maintain cleanliness in the Heine Brothers' area
  • communicate effectively with guests and associates, listening to and clarifying concerns
  • maintain a clean workspace throughout the entire shift
  • assist with monthly inventory and liaise with the housekeeping department to maintain public areas
  • follow proper procedures for accepting credit cards and checks, and maintain a cash bank
  • verify guest room numbers for room charges and interact with other departments to satisfy guest needs
  • adhere to proper food handling procedures and safety protocols for equipment use
  • ensure each beverage is prepared and served according to Heine Brothers' standards
  • proactively seek ways to improve the Heine Brothers' experience for guests
