The Heavy Equipment CDL Driver role at EquipmentShare is a vital part of the company's operational success. This full-time position, located at the Bryan, TX rental facility, involves the safe and efficient delivery of heavy equipment and materials. The role runs Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with overtime pay available after 40 hours, including on-call scheduling with additional compensation. Drivers at EquipmentShare do more than transport goods; they leverage advanced technology through the proprietary T3 platform to access real-time fleet locations, manage work orders, and receive delivery instructions, increasing job safety and efficiency.

In this role, the CDL driver must operate vehicles in compliance with state and federal transportation laws, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of equipment. They are responsible for maneuvering trucks and trailers skillfully during loading and unloading, assisting with loading operations, and maintaining accurate paperwork such as invoices and shipping bills of lading. The driver also performs routine vehicle service checks and reports any maintenance issues.
