Job Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to obtain and maintain 1055 Slot/Cardroom/Pari-Mutuel Individual Combo slot license
Ability to work flexible schedules including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Capacity to manage physical demands including standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 40 pounds
Ability to work in environments with varied temperatures, noise, smoke, and wet areas
Willingness to adhere to company policies and ethical standards

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including customer needs assessment and meeting quality standards
Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction
Skilled in managing one’s own time and the time of others
Strong listening skills including full attention to others, understanding points made, appropriate questioning, and not interrupting
Ability to adjust actions in relation to others’ actions

Job Duties

Deal with high-volume customer interactions and be consistently outgoing, upbeat, and cheerful
Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back
Provide superior guest service, positively affect interactions with guests and employees, and handle difficult guests courteously
Clean and wash all kitchen equipment, pots, pans, china, silverware, and glasses using the dishwasher as appropriate
Clean kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment by sweeping and mopping floors, washing work tables, walls, refrigerators, stoves, steamers, and meat blocks
Take inventory of china, silverware, and glassware, and report any shortages to management while devising methods to prevent theft and waste
Report any maintenance required for kitchen areas and order parts for defective equipment
Properly store all kitchen equipment, pots, pans, china, silverware, and glasses
Deliver and properly store all stock from receiving department
Deliver product and stock to food outlets
Take out kitchen trash, including grease and food particles from garbage disposals
Clean floors in the kitchen area and cookers
Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities and assist as needed
Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner
Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically and empower others to do the same
Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, seeking to resolve all in a positive manner
Work a flexible schedule as required including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
Assist in maintaining a spotless environment by disposing of items left by guests
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Ensure operating principles of cleanliness, safety, friendliness, and fun are adhered to
Use commercial dishwasher, trash compactor, food and dish carts, hand dolly, dish cleaning brushes, wet mops and brooms, telephone and desktop computer
Obtain and maintain 1055 Slot/Cardroom/Pari-Mutuel Individual Combo slot license
Must be at least 21 years of age
