Boyd Gaming is currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to fill the position of Environmental Services Team Member. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that the company is known for. The Environmental Services Team Member will be responsible for ensuring all guest areas, restrooms, and common spaces are impeccably clean and well-maintained. This uniformed position demands adherence to strict appearance and conduct standards, reflecting the professional image of Boyd Gaming and enhancing the overall guest experience.
The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of cleaning duties including the cleaning and polishing of furniture and brass fixtures, emptying trash bins, and maintaining cleanliness throughout guest and team member areas. Candidates should be adept at operating various cleaning equipment, including riding equipment such as extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers, and overhead lifts. Furthermore, the role requires responsiveness to guest requests and placing guests in touch with the appropriate personnel when necessary. Safety and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment are paramount, and team members must comply with company policies and procedures as outlined in the Belterra Park Environmental Services Manual.

Job Duties
- Adhere to guest service requirements
- adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards
- clean restrooms, mirrors, sinks, counter tops, cigarette urns and toilets
- empty trash bins and pick up loose papers from floors, sinks and counter tops as well as sweep and mop floors
- remove all trash to exterior trash points
- remove snow for trash run
- replace toilet tissue and refill paper towel dispensers
- clean and polish all furniture, marble, brass, brass floor plates, and entrance door brass and kick door brass plates
- clean brass, lighting, walls and carpeting
- clean and dust all lighting and lampshades
- vacuum flooring, clean windows, clean window ledges and clean team member restaurant floors, and sanitize all guest and team member areas
- sweep, mop, buff, vacuum, dust and wax floors
- operate all types of cleaning equipment including riding equipments such as extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers and overhead lifts
- respond to reasonable guest requests or place guest in contact with appropriate person for assistance
- adhere to standards and operating procedures as outlined in the Belterra Park EVS Manual
- maintain uniformed appearance standards while on duty
- ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals
- maintain strict confidentiality of proprietary and guest information
- maintain professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image
- perform other duties assigned by department Manager and Shift Supervisor
