The Heavy Cleaning Crew Member plays a crucial role within the Spokane Tribe Casino operations team. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum six months of prior janitorial experience
- Ability to work varying noise, crowd, and smoke conditions
- Guest service orientation with friendly and upbeat interaction skills
- Ability to work extended periods on feet and efficiently move around work area
- Competence in handling heavy lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and 10-20 pounds frequently
- Ability to use ladders and operate cleaning machinery safely
- Compliance with Spokane Tribal Gaming Commission licensing and casino training requirements
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of six months janitorial experience preferably with floor care
- Excellent guest service and communication skills
- Ability to physically perform job duties including prolonged standing, using cleaning chemicals, ladders, and moving equipment
- Knowledge of ordinances, regulations, and policies relevant to casino operations
- Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality with access to restricted areas
Job Duties
- Perform floor maintenance such as stripping and waxing floors and shampooing carpets
- Clean kitchen areas, server stations, and bars including walls, under equipment, drains, vent hoods, and pressure wash floors
- Maintain restrooms by pressure washing floors and cleaning sinks, toilets, urinals, counters, walls, ceilings, lights, and vents
- Conduct general maintenance including cleaning walls, ceilings, lights, fixtures, floor vents, duct work, windows, counters, tables, chairs, and railings
- Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment efficiently
- Assist facilities engineers with property maintenance during adverse weather conditions
- Notify supervisors or facilities team of any safety concerns that arise
