Job Requirements

  • Able to work at least 3-5 days a week
  • Flexible availability including weekends and on-call shifts
  • Ability to work long shifts (11AM-8PM)
  • Must be fast and have a sense of urgency
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic environment
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork
  • Ability to stand for at least 8 hours with breaks
  • Must believe in and be passionate about health food and HeartBeet’s mission
  • Ability to travel to Industrial District for kitchen roles
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds for kitchen roles

Job Qualifications

  • Cafe or restaurant experience for staff positions
  • Leadership experience for shift lead roles
  • Three or more years of experience in food preparation or baking for kitchen roles
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred for production roles

Job Duties

  • Greet and serve customers with a friendly attitude
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages quickly and accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • Manage inventory and stock supplies as needed
  • Lead and motivate team members in shift lead roles
  • Create and decorate desserts as head dessert chef
  • Prepare ingredients and assist with kitchen operations
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • Assist in daily kitchen deliveries and logistics
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
