Job Description
Twin Peaks is a well-known American restaurant chain that combines a welcoming atmosphere with high-quality food and exceptional service. Established with the vision to create a distinctive dining experience, Twin Peaks is best known for its mountain lodge-themed décor and a focus on hearty American-style cuisine. Guests come here not only to enjoy delicious meals but also to immerse themselves in an energetic and casual environment, ideal for gatherings with friends or family. Twin Peaks values team members who can uphold its reputation for excellence through dedication, strong work ethics, and a commitment to maintaining the restaurant's standards. The company believes in fostering a positive work culture where employees can grow personally and professionally while contributing to delivering memorable guest experiences.
The Heart of the House (HOH) Line Cook position at Twin Peaks plays a vital role in delivering the high standards the brand is known for. This role focuses on preparing food that consistently meets the company’s quality, sanitation, and safety requirements. The HOH Line Cook is expected to uphold extreme discipline in cleanliness, food handling, and adherence to recipes and procedures to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. The position requires wearing a clean uniform, maintaining personal grooming standards including hair, facial hair, and hygiene protocols, and following strict policies regarding jewelry and overall appearance. On any given day, the HOH Line Cook supports the kitchen team by preparing ingredients, assembling dishes according to line build recipes, and maintaining an organized and sanitized work station. This individual should be a team player capable of working under pressure while meeting deadlines and quality assurance guidelines.
The role involves training via digital platforms and hands-on experience. Completion of the Twin Peaks HOH training program, which covers food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures, is mandatory before independently handling shifts. The physical demands necessitate standing for prolonged periods, moving around the kitchen, handling kitchen utensils and equipment, and occasionally lifting moderate weights. The environment exposes the cook to heat, airborne particles, wet conditions, and cleaning chemicals, requiring vigilance and adherence to safety standards.
Twin Peaks HOH Line Cooks are expected to be communicative and understand English to follow recipes and instructions effectively. Reasoning skills for carrying out simple instructions and adapting to routine kitchen operations are necessary. Candidates should be prepared to embrace a dynamic work setting where punctuality, presentation, teamwork, and a proactive mindset contribute to personal success and the overall restaurant experience. This role embodies Twin Peaks’ commitment to delivering top-tier culinary delights while ensuring health, safety, and impeccable guest service standards are met consistently.
