Job Description
Twin Peaks is a renowned restaurant brand that delivers a unique dining experience through its combination of exceptional food, outstanding service, and a distinctive mountain lodge ambiance. Catering to guests seeking both flavorful meals and a welcoming atmosphere, Twin Peaks emphasizes high standards in food quality, safety, and hygiene. The establishment prides itself on upholding professionalism and attention to detail across all departments, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering a collaborative work environment. Twin Peaks employs a dedicated Heart of the House team, integral in maintaining operational excellence while delivering the signature Twin Peaks guest experience.
The Heart of the House - Line Cook role at Twin Peaks is a pivotal position that focuses on preparing best-in-class food for every guest, maintaining the brand's reputation for quality and consistency. This role demands discipline and adherence to extreme standards related to food quality, sanitation, and safety. Line cooks are expected to strictly follow prep and line build recipes, perform meticulous ingredient quality checks, and sustain clean and organized workstations and equipment. They are responsible not only for cooking but also for maintaining the overall hygiene and operational standards of the kitchen. This position requires the ability to work efficiently as part of a team, communicate effectively in English, and comply with all specified training and certification requirements. Attention to personal appearance is also critical, with specific uniform guidelines designed to project professionalism and ensure sanitary conditions.
Ideal candidates have proven line cook experience, a solid grasp of kitchen safety protocols, and a capacity to perform duties in a fast-paced environment. The role involves physical activity such as standing, walking, using hands for detailed tasks, and occasionally lifting up to 15 pounds. Line cooks may encounter various environmental conditions like exposure to kitchen fumes, humid areas such as dishwashing zones, and occasional contact with cleaning chemicals. The position also expects adherence to Twin Peaks’ comprehensive training programs and the ability to adapt to any necessary changes in duties as required by management. Overall, this role offers an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals seeking to develop their skills and contribute to a well-established restaurant brand with a commitment to excellence.
