The Healthcare Host/Hostess position at Lehigh Valley Hospital represents a pivotal role within Sodexo’s hospital team. As a part-time role with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour, this position is designed for individuals who thrive in customer-focused environments and are motivated by making a positive difference in patients' lives through attentive service and interaction. This role involves working afternoon and evening shifts with varying days and rotating weekends, offering flexibility alongside a supportive work environment. As a Healthcare Host/Hostess, you act as the warm-welcomer and experience ambassador, directly affecting patients’ and guests’ satisfaction through your dedication and care.

In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently communicating with patients, hospital staff, and guests to ensure meal trays and nourishment are delivered accurately and timely. Your duties include recording special dietary needs, delivering meal carts to patient units, assisting with meal setup at the bedside to enhance patient comfort, and managing inventory for nourishment stations. Operating technical equipment accurately and maintaining cleanliness by discarding soiled trays are also intrinsic to this position. This role demands reliability and punctuality, reflecting your commitment to the patient's well-being and the smooth operation of meal services.
