At the UTMB Health League City Campus Hospital, Sodexo is seeking a Healthcare Host/Hostess to join their team full-time, working mornings and afternoon/evening shifts with varying days and rotating weekends. The pay range for this role is $13.00 per hour.

Job Duties

  • effectively communicate with patients, staff and guests of the hospital to ensure accuracy and timelines of patient meal trays and floor stock
  • record the amount and type of special food
  • delivering meal carts to patient units
  • aid in the meal set-up at bedside with direct patient contact
  • discard soiled trays
  • take inventory of nourishment areas, stock when necessary and accurately operate technical equipment
  • attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
