Job Requirements
- no certification or licensure required
- ability to work variable shifts including 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to provide excellent customer service
- proficiency in clerical and reception duties
- ability to assist in scheduling and monitoring telemetry when needed
- adaptability to work on weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- experience or training in a hospital or clinic setting as a health unit coordinator, medical secretary, or medical receptionist
- if no formal education, 1 year experience or training in a hospital or clinic setting as a health unit coordinator, medical secretary, or medical receptionist
Job Duties
- plan, organize, and implement non-nursing functions of assigned unit
- facilitate workflow and enhance unit productivity
- provide excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff
- perform clerical and reception duties
- requisition supplies, equipment, and services as directed
- assist with scheduling
- observe telemetry monitor when indicated and notify patient’s caregiver of any changes
- support Diagnostic Imaging staff including Rad Techs, MRI Techs, and others
- perform other duties as assigned
