We strive to enhance the quality of life for our residents through compassionate care and excellence in service delivery.\n\nThe Health Services Dining Manager plays a pivotal role within our Health Center, tasked with overseeing all food service operations to guarantee courteous, efficient, and nutritional meal service for our residents and their guests. This is a full-time, exempt salaried position with a competitive salary range between $60,000 and $65,000 annually. The successful candidate will report directly to the Dining Services Director and will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team.\n\nIn this role, the manager will be responsible for supervising Health Center dietary employees, planning and scheduling duties, and approving timecards. They will serve as a mentor and trainer for new and existing dining room staff, ensuring that high standards of customer service are maintained at all times. The manager will also collaborate on menu development, taking into account resident preferences and nutritional needs, and ensure that staff receive ongoing education in alignment with the department’s training plans.\n\nAdditional responsibilities include managing work assignments, performing quality spot checks, assisting diet aides, and handling the logistics of transporting food and necessary non-food items within the health center. The manager will also work closely with the Chef to order food and specialty items, especially those required for special diets. Moreover, the role requires meticulous management of diet-related data, such as transcribing dietitian notes into menus and tracking nourishment lists to comply with health regulations. Maintaining accurate records and reports in line with local, state, and federal requirements is also essential to this position.\n\nBy joining our team, the Health Services Dining Manager will contribute significantly to delivering a superior dining experience that supports the health outcomes and satisfaction of our residents. Job Requirements
- Education in nutrition, dietetics, food service management or related field preferred
- Prior experience in dietary or food service management in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to supervise, train, and mentor staff
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle food safely and follow health regulations
- Must be able to work 30 or more hours per week

Job Duties
- Assist in planning, scheduling, supervising and approving timecards of dietary employees
