Job Description
Touchmark is Helena's premier full-service retirement community, dedicated to enriching the lives of its residents and their families through five-star hospitality, comprehensive services, and a wide range of amenities. Known for upholding the core values of Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, and Compassion, Touchmark creates a supportive and uplifting environment where these principles influence every interaction, from personalized caregiver assistance to maintaining the community grounds. The company emphasizes a culture of kindness and belonging, encouraging everyone to be Allies, Friends, and Givers in their roles and responsibilities. Touchmark's commitment to quality living is reflected in its mission to continually enhance the daily experiences of its residents by providing exceptional care and service.
Currently, Touchmark is seeking a motivated individual to join their Health Services team as a Health Services Staffing Coordinator – Scheduler. This position plays a vital role in supporting the Health Services Director/Administrator, Resident Care Manager, and nursing staff by managing the coordination of staff scheduling, enhancing team member satisfaction, and performing various administrative duties essential to the smooth operation of the Health Services department. The role is perfect for a candidate who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and passionate about contributing to a caring, geriatric environment.
The Health Services Staffing Coordinator is entrusted with balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic work setting, often facing frequent changes and interruptions. As an integral part of the healthcare support team, the Coordinator’s duties extend beyond scheduling to fostering positive team dynamics and promoting the values that define Touchmark. The ideal candidate is expected to have strong critical thinking abilities and excellent computer proficiency, including experience with MS Office, MS Excel, and Outlook. While prior experience as a scheduler or in direct patient care is required, holding a CNA or CMA certification is preferred but not mandatory. Additionally, candidates should be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not already certified.
This position suits individuals who possess a genuine interest in elderly care, patience in handling various stakeholders such as residents, family members, and staff, and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism. Touchmark also values candidates dedicated to continuous learning and skill improvement to maintain the highest standards of care and service.
Touchmark offers a competitive compensation and benefits package tailored to support the well-being of its employees who work 30 or more hours per week. Benefits include paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, educational assistance, retirement plans, and various flexible spending accounts. The organization’s focus on employee health and satisfaction underscores its belief that the best care for residents starts with the best care for its employees. Candidates who align with Touchmark’s values and are passionate about making a difference in a community-oriented, compassionate setting are encouraged to apply and join a growing team dedicated to excellence in senior living care.
