Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Morning or daytime availability
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Flexible and adaptable to changing kitchen environments
- Proven track record in pastry creation and decoration
- Leadership experience in baking or retail
- Compliance with food safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of large-scale baking or pastry experience
- Experience in leadership roles within retail or food service
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation standards
- Ability to decorate pastries accurately and artistically
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely
- Formal culinary education is a plus
Job Duties
- Lead the pastry team to create a diverse menu of fresh baked goods
- Ensure all pastries meet quality and presentation standards
- Manage inventory and place orders for baking supplies
- Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on pastry techniques and safety
- Adapt to operational changes while maintaining baking schedules
- Oversee the decoration and finishing of pastries
