Job Requirements

  • Must have morning or daytime availability
  • Able to lift and handle heavy baking supplies up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Flexible and adaptable to changes in the kitchen
  • Proven baking and decorating skills
  • Commitment to quality and customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year large-scale baking or pastry experience
  • Leadership experience in retail or food service
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Experience with inventory management and ordering
  • Formal culinary education is a bonus
  • Ability to work early morning shifts consistently
  • Strong physical stamina to handle lifting and standing requirements

Job Duties

  • Lead the pastry kitchen team to ensure high-quality production
  • Follow and develop recipes for a wide variety of pastries and baked goods
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and supply levels effectively
  • Decorate pastries quickly and with artistic attention to detail
  • Adapt to operational changes while maintaining food quality
  • Support and mentor team members to encourage professional growth
