Job Requirements
- must have morning and daytime availability
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- ability to stand and mix for extended periods
- flexibility to work early morning shifts
- strong attention to detail
- ability to adapt to change
Job Qualifications
- at least 1 year of large-scale baking and pastry experience
- experience working quickly and decorating pastries
- leadership experience in retail or food service
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- experience with inventory and ordering
- formal culinary education is a bonus
- ability to work early morning shifts
Job Duties
- lead the pastry team to produce over 40 fresh baked pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins
- follow recipes closely to create one-of-a-kind pastries and baked goods
- lift and handle large amounts of dough and ingredients weighing 50 lbs or more
- maintain compliance with local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation standards
- manage inventory and ordering processes
- work early morning shifts starting as early as 4 a.m.
- adapt to changes and maintain flexibility while overseeing baking operations
