Job Requirements

  • must have morning and daytime availability
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • ability to lift 50 lbs or more
  • ability to stand and mix for extended periods
  • flexibility to work early morning shifts
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to adapt to change

Job Qualifications

  • at least 1 year of large-scale baking and pastry experience
  • experience working quickly and decorating pastries
  • leadership experience in retail or food service
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • experience with inventory and ordering
  • formal culinary education is a bonus
  • ability to work early morning shifts

Job Duties

  • lead the pastry team to produce over 40 fresh baked pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins
  • follow recipes closely to create one-of-a-kind pastries and baked goods
  • lift and handle large amounts of dough and ingredients weighing 50 lbs or more
  • maintain compliance with local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation standards
  • manage inventory and ordering processes
  • work early morning shifts starting as early as 4 a.m.
  • adapt to changes and maintain flexibility while overseeing baking operations
