Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • availability for morning/daytime shifts
  • ability to lift heavy ingredients weighing 50 lbs or more
  • ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods
  • flexibility to adapt to change
  • commitment to high standards of food quality

Job Qualifications

  • at least one year of large-scale baking/pastry experience
  • leadership experience in retail or food service
  • knowledge of food handler and sanitation regulations
  • experience with inventory and ordering
  • formal culinary education is a bonus
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work early morning shifts

Job Duties

  • lead and manage the pastry kitchen team
  • prepare and bake over 40 varieties of pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins daily
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • manage inventory and ordering of baking supplies
  • follow and perfect recipes to maintain product quality
  • train and mentor team members in baking techniques
  • maintain a clean and organized work environment
