Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aviation, aerospace engineering, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of experience in flight operations or flight testing
- Relevant aviation certifications and licenses
- Proven leadership experience in aviation operations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to engage with regulatory agencies and military partners
Job Qualifications
- Significant experience leading flight operations and/or flight testing in an aviation environment
- Deep understanding of aviation principles and flight dynamics
- Proven experience engaging with and navigating aviation regulatory bodies
- Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and manage high-performing teams
- Strong independent problem-solving capabilities
- Genuine passion for hands-on work and continuous learning within the aviation field
Job Duties
- Provide strategic and operational oversight for all flight activities
- Act as the primary flight operations interface between Skyways and our customers, ensuring seamless communication and successful mission execution for all flight-related aspects
- Coordinate extensively with other Skyways teams and departments to ensure fluid communication and alignment across all flight-related initiatives
- Engage directly with regulatory bodies and military stakeholders
- Lead, mentor, and develop flight team members
- Oversee test scheduling and aircraft planning
- Manage flight personnel
