Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a back-of-house leadership role such as Executive Sous Chef or Sous Chef
- Experience working at a Michelin-starred establishment
- Proven track record in high-volume, full-service restaurant environments
- Unexpired sanitation certification
- Demonstrated excellent cooking skills
- Strong supervisory experience
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols
- Ability to maintain recipe adherence and portion control
- Effective leadership and team-building skills
- Proficient in evaluating and coaching kitchen staff
Job Duties
- Oversee the activities of kitchen staff with an awareness of quality and costs
- Assist with weekly schedule
- Train all kitchen employees in their individual duties, required knowledge and skills
- Counsel, discipline and evaluate kitchen employees
- Uphold consistency in recipe adherence, portion control, and plating standards
