Job Requirements
- At least two years of kitchen manager experience required
- Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience considered
- Ability to work in high-stress environment
- Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills
- Cooperates and works together with all co-workers
- Plans and completes job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment
- Certified in Serve Safe or other QFO certificate
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required in the kitchen environment
Job Qualifications

- Ability to work under high-stress conditions
- Experience in managing food cost and labor scheduling
- Skilled in training and developing kitchen staff

Job Duties
- Oversees the operations of the kitchen and back-of-house, ensuring food is prepared safely and efficiently
- Ensures kitchen adheres to health, safety, and hygiene codes and maintains a Department of Health score of 95 or better
- Manages labor and scheduling for the back-of-house staff
- Procures, hires, trains, and develops kitchen team members
- Manages ordering, production, and waste processes to control food costs
- Oversees inventory, stocking, and purchasing of fresh ingredients
- Maintains and inspects kitchen equipment, recommending repairs or replacements as necessary
- Collaborates with front-of-house and back-of-house management to support a cohesive team
- Maintains kitchen budget and conducts periodic inventory checks
- Performs line work, prep tasks, and quality control as needed
- Ensures compliance with safety regulations and promotes a safe workplace environment
